Special Thank You's to

Victor 3

Mick would like especially to thank Victor 3 and all the army lads who are showing huge support for this waka. It is overwhelming to feel the brotherhood supporting one of their own and these guys are right here, right now, no questions.

Carving for Auction

Miracles Happen

Mick has carved a stunning piece of pounamu which went up for auction on Trademe to help raise funds for this project. The auction closed at 9am Friday and it didn't sell. I was really disappointed, but decided not to relist it until after the weekend. But then, out of the blue, at 2pm someone rang and said they heard Mick had a carving for sale could they buy it for exactly the amount Mick wanted for it. And so the final bills get paid.
